interior design project and arch. supervision

2010
Maya Plaza İstanbul
680 m2

This is a design of a global banking institution’s office work space clearly laid out with austere and functional touches.

An outer covering that wraps the core of the building in the inside while work rooms are situated in the outer cells are seen in the plan layout.

The attempt to provide the interior space with natural light and spaciousness was made with translucent glass partition panels.

While there is a reception counter and a corporate wall directly perpendicular to the entrance there is also a meeting area which is easily accessed from all the offices.

It is intended to use natural materials in the space, whereas a plain, but unique design opulence has been targeted in the details with specially manufactured wooden fixtures.

Movement has been achieved with vertical niches where holders for publications such as magazines/brochures etc. are positioned on the repeating surfaces in the shell which are hidden in the core.
